Become a Foster Parent
What does it mean to be a Foster 'Parent'?
Do you love animals? Are you a team player? Do you have room in your heart & home for another life?
As a Foster 'Parent' you can experience the satisfaction of giving a pet the socializing, care and training they want, need and deserve while they wait for their forever family to adopt them.
Happy Tails covers all necessary vetting. We need you to get them to their appointments. Also, when donations are available, food, litter and other necessities are supplied. Foster Parents will bring their adoptable pets to our Meet & Greet events held every Saturday from 11-2 at Pet Supplies Plus in St. Clair Shores (Harper at 13 Mile) and the 3rd Sunday of each month at Pet Supplies Plus located at Harper and 13 Mile Rd. Helping an animal find a good home is such a rewarding feeling :)
In addition to monetary support, there are many supplies which are needed to properly care for our foster animals.

A little time and effort goes a long way! If you are unable to foster or make donations, extra help is always appreciated for our weekend Meet & Greet events (setup and teardown at Meet & Greets requires some lifting), transport of foster pets, at special events, vet visits, or even adoption assistance. If you are able to help with any of these situations then we would love to hear from you :)
